What we offer

What we are looking for

We are seeking two Psychologists or Clinical Psychologists to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological care for individuals experiencing sleep difficulties and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Clients present with sleep disorders (predominantly., insomnia, circadian rhythm disturbances) which often co-occur with anxiety, depression, PTSD, neurodivergence, and other mental health concerns.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive, research-informed team.

Essential Criteria

  • A relevant qualification in psychology
  • Experience in behavioural sleep medicine and CBT-I, or a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
  • Full registration as a psychologist or clinical psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number to offer rebated services.
  • An Australian Business Number (ABN) and professional indemnity insurance.
  • A high standard of ethical practice and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Desirable attributes

  • Previous experience working in a health psychology setting and/or private practice.
  • Familiarity with ACT, EMDR, mindfulness-based approaches, or other evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to sleep and mental health.
  • An interest in contributing to research, program development, or training initiatives within the Institute.
  • Registered as a Psychologist for workers compensation.
