Leadership

Mind Health Care is led by Dr Brendan Meagher, former National Chair of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists and recipient of the Australian Psychological Society (Victoria) Significant Contribution Award (2023). Brendan is the author of two books on private psychology practice.

About the Role
We are seeking two Psychologists either full-time or part-time, with flexibility to suit the right candidates.

This role will suit:

• Experienced psychologists seeking consistent referral flow and strong earning capacity
• Early-career psychologists who want structure, mentorship and long-term development within a respected practice

As a Psychologist at Mind Health Care, you will provide evidence-based psychological services to your ideal client base. Our established referral network and streamlined intake process ensure you have choice and autonomy over the types of clients you work with, enabling you to tailor your caseload to your interests and strengths.

While having a clearly defined niche area is not essential, it is a significant advantage and will be fully supported within our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conducting psychological assessments and developing individualised treatment plans

• Delivering evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, ACT, etc.)

• Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team for holistic care

• Maintaining clear, professional client records

• Contributing to the ongoing development of our services

About You

• Registered Psychologist (clinical or counselling endorsement welcome but not essential)

• Skilled in assessment, formulation, and evidence-based treatment

• Able to build strong therapeutic relationships with a broad range of clients

• Committed to professional development and staying current with best practices

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
