Our Services Team plays a vital role in delivering key initiatives, including our national Autism Connect helpline and our growing fee-for-service psychology services, supporting Autistic people, their families and carers across Australia.

About the Role

We're looking for Clinical Psychologists with experience working with adults, to join our Services Team, providing high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming psychological assessment, diagnosis and therapy support to Autistic adults. Reporting to the Executive Manager – Services, this is a clinical-only role with a strong emphasis on autism assessment and diagnosis, in addition to delivering individual therapy via telehealth and in-person. You'll support adults navigating identity, co-occurring ADHD, PDA profiles, masking and autistic burnout. Training and development in neuroinclusive care can be provided to support your growth in this space

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Is a registered Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA, with current Medicare provider registration.
Has experience delivering neuro-affirming assessment and/or therapy to Autistic and/or neurodivergent adults.
Brings a genuine commitment to neurodiversity-affirming practice and a critical understanding of deficit-based, pathologising frameworks.
Communicates sensitively and adapts their style to meet the sensory, communication and processing needs of Autistic and neurodivergent clients.
Is confident delivering services in person and/or via telehealth and comfortable using digital tools.

This is a clinical-only role (no line management responsibilities). A Working with Children Check (or state based equivalent) and National Police Check will be required if successful through Amaze.

Other Requirements:

This role is based on a hybrid model: admin, intake and face to face services are completed from the office (Melbourne or Hobart), with telehealth services completed from an approved, confidentiality-compliant remote setting. Exact arrangements will be discussed with your manager based on operational requirements.
Flexible working arrangements may be considered to support individual needs subject to manager approval and the operational requirements of the role.
Evidence of right to work in Australia if you are not an Australian citizen.
Current AHPRA registration and Medicare provider registration as a Clinical Psychologist, active at commencement (essential).
Successful National Police Check (paid by Amaze).
Successful Working with Children Check (paid by Amaze).
Able to provide 2 references upon request if successful in obtaining the role.
