Clinical / Forensic Psychologist — Complex Assessment & Medicolegal Reporting
PsychCheck Pty Ltd | Australia Wide (Remote) | Part-Time/Casual Contract
About the Role
PsychCheck is seeking experienced Clinical/Forensic Psychologists to join our national team, undertaking complex psychological assessments and medicolegal report writing. This is 100% remote work — join us from anywhere in Australia and build a caseload around the life you already have.
You will be working on genuinely interesting, high-complexity cases: risk assessments, security clearance evaluations, and detailed medicolegal reports for a range of referrers. The work is at times challenging, but you won't be doing it alone — full psychometric data, report templates, and structured supervision are provided from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting complex psychological assessments, including risk and security assessments delivered online
- Preparing thorough, defensible medicolegal reports for legal, private and government stakeholders
- Drawing on validated psychometric tools and data (provided) to inform your clinical opinions
- Managing your own caseload with the flexibility of full remote delivery, Australia wide
- Participating in regular supervision and ongoing professional development
About You
- Masters-level qualification in Clinical or Forensic Psychology (or equivalent AoPE endorsement)
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience, with a demonstrated background in complex assessment work
- Solid experience in medicolegal report writing, with an ability to translate clinical findings into clear, well-reasoned reports for non-clinical audiences
- Comfortable delivering assessments via telehealth/online platforms
- Registered with AHPRA
- Self-directed, well-organised, and confident managing a remote caseload independently
What We Offer
- Work from anywhere in Australia — genuine location flexibility
- Psychometric data, assessment materials, and report templates provided
- Regular clinical supervision and training, including for less familiar assessment types
- Challenging, varied work that draws on your full clinical and forensic skill set
- A supportive, experienced team culture despite the remote setup
- Competitive remuneration, reflective of your experience and the complexity of the caseload
