Provisional Psychologist 

A psychology assessment practice is seeking a provisional psychologist currently undertaking the 5+1 pathway (OR 4+2) and working under an approved supervision arrangement.

This is a paid position providing practical experience in psychological assessment. The role would suit a provisional psychologist seeking to develop their assessment, psychometric and report-writing skills within a busy practice.

The work will include taking detailed psychosocial and background histories, assisting with psychological assessment, administering and scoring psychometric measures, reviewing relevant documentation and records, and assisting with the preparation and drafting of psychological assessment reports. Support, guidance and feedback will be provided. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their skills in psychological assessment and professional report writing with qualified psychologists.

The position can be undertaken remotely and offers  flexible working arrangements. Hours and workload can be negotiated to accommodate the applicant’s existing employment, supervision and 5+1 requirements.Applicants must hold current provisional registration with AHPRA and be undertaking the 5+1 or 4+2 pathway with appropriate supervision arrangements in place.
