About the Opportunity

Join a warm, collaborative team in a beautiful established integrative medical centre based in the George Street Precinct of East Fremantle. We are seeking an experienced neurodiverse-affirming Registered or Clinical Psychologist to step into a well-structured, low stress neurodiverse assessment role from 15 April to 29 July 2027.

This position offers full administrative support, allowing you to focus entirely on clinical work without the burden of scheduling, billing, or initial enquiries.

The Role and Workflow

You will manage an established, highly organised assessment pipeline. The current diary structure ensures a sustainable workload, capped at only one formal testing appointment per week so that you are only ever writing one diagnostic report at a time.

The standard assessment pathway comprises:

·       Pre-screening : 15 minute complimentary phone consultation to determine client suitability.

·       Initial Interview: Comprehensive intake and clinical history gathering.

·       Formal Testing: Targeted ADHD, ASD, or combined assessments.

·       Report Writing: Dedicated, allocated time to compile the diagnostic report.

·       Feedback: A comprehensive review session with the client to discuss the report, findings and future management recommendations.

Your weekly diary will feature a balanced mix of clients at various stages of this assessment process.

Financial and Administrative Structure

Service  Model: This practice operates on a 30% service fee model.

Billing Ecosystem: All bookings, billings, and clinical revenue flow directly through the medical centre’s administrative ecosystem. Locums do not bill clients directly.

Remuneration: The successful locum will be paid a competitive split of 60% of the total booking fee under a subcontractor arrangement (at month end).

Position Requirements:

·       Registration: General or Clinical Registration with AHPRA.

·       Experience: Proven competence in neurodiverse assessments, specifically incorporating the DIVA-5 and MIGDAS assessment tools.

·       Insurance: Valid independent Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

·       Status: Operating under a Subcontractor Locum arrangement
